Long time since I blogged or was on eBay!

I have been out of town for a while helping some friends with some tough issues they were facing. Not only have I not been blogging, I have not been eBay selling either.
I hope to post some updates soon for my handful of readers. I am jumping back onto eBay now!

I had a few questions though related to running an ebay business and was wondering if you would be willing to answer them for me. You seem to have gotten past a lot of the typical pitfalls.
1) Are you doing your ebay selling independently or did you actually officially set it up as a business (sole proprietorship, LLC, etc)?
2) If you set it up as an official business, did you have to get a seller’s permit for collecting sales tax, etc?
My biggest concern here is handling taxes and all that.

I still just do business as myself. I do not collect sales tax and simply do not sell to my own state. For now, that works well. If you live in New York or California that may not work so well!
Don’t let taxes scare you. Just go for it!

i was looking into making money online…i came across drop shipping did research, and it seems kinda cool, if you use elbow grease….saw chris bernard’s website and then i am scatching my head again….found your blogs, pretty neat stuff you write….waiting for your chris bernard blog….roddy
