eBay? Dropshipping? I am starting a website!

As you know my blog here has been pretty empty lately and I have been very busy selling products on eBay, thank you dropshipping sucks!
But, as you also know, I have been looking into a way to expand my business and possibly, actually, quit my day job. eBay just hasn’t gotten me there yet and it has been what feels like forever.
But I got an email yesterday from Christopher Bernard, the guy who created dropshippingsucks.com and he announced his new website, Duug. I am not sure what Duug stands for, he didn’t say. What he did say was that Duug was a place where he would personally create websites for people based on their interests. The email made it sound pretty cool, so I am going to be one of the first customers!!!
The Duug website isn’t even finished yet but you can still sign up, or at least I could. I just took the survey thingy and got a call FROM CHRIS HIMSELF and am waiting for my new site!! I will let you know when it is complete.
I am very excited. I have been waiting to talk to Chris for a long time and now I finally had the chance. The dude is like crazy brilliant!
So, this is my update. I will still continue to sell on eBay and still continue to promote dropshipping sucks (affiliate link) but maybe my new website will be the method to which I can quite my job forever!

I’ve been reading through your blog. Seems like you’ve been going down the professional ebay selling path for a while now – I’m just starting. I got taken in by the whole dropshipping via ebay thing, but I’m starting to get cynical about it – I’ve wasted a bit of time and money, but not too much to give up.
I also have a couple of websites with affiliate stuff on – so the question is how are things going with your website? How is business for you? (you’ve not posted for a while, so I guess you’re busy!)

Things are going very well. I have used what I earned through my Drop Shipping Sucks (on eBay) sales, and affiliate sales — I make money when someone buys DSS through that link, and have started a website. So far it is going great but there have been some pitfalls. Selling on eBay was a bear. It went great and was very exciting when I was starting with the DSS stuff. But after a while I got sick of it. Now my wife sells there still part time and I have a website which sells non-tangible goods.

Ive looked into the whole, selling on ebay, droppshipping thing. very hard to do. But I see your seeing the light and selling informational products.
